With a background in Interior Design in Sydney and a passion for bespoke wears and antiques that stems back to my childhood, you could say that I truly live and breathe what I do. After living and working in the UK for a number of years, I found myself inherently drawn to the timeless and classic approach of decorating and collecting. I began sourcing for myself from my London flat, visiting antique shops and fairs both in the UK and across Europe. Since moving back to Sydney, Australia, I decided to turn my passion for interiors and collecting into a business and after years of planning, Pembridge Lane was born. Introducing our Scrunchie Lampshade in Ecru. Crafted from 100% European flax linen, each piece is lovingly handmade right here in Sydney.
Unique lampshades are one of those pieces that are surprisingly hard to find - so I created my own range of timeless, elegant “scrunchies” designed to slip over a standard shade. Whether you're looking to elevate a simple base or add a touch of drama to a more sculptural lamp, these pieces offer a beautifully classic silhouette and cast a warm, ambient glow in the evening.
The scrunchie sits over a lampshade and will fit a standard empire shade. The shade is not included, but is available to purchase. Please add ‘Complete With Shade’ to your basket and your piece will come complete with ivory linen shade and scrunchie to fit.

A striking Antique Georgian Mahogany Mirror with original mercury glass. The frame is wonderfully decorative and in brilliant condition with what I consider to be the ideal amount of mercury in the glass… enough to add interest, but still a usable piece. This mirror has quickly become a favourite in the collection and would add drama and elegance to any room. I would love to see this above a vanity in a powder room or in a small entry. A very difficult one to part with!
